The Alber lab studies the molecular basis for protein recognition and
signalling, through both experimental and theoretical studies. We are
affiliated with the Biomolecular Structure
and Mechanism supergroup at UC Berkeley, the
Department of Molecular and Cell Biology,
the California Institute for Quantitative
Biomedical Research, and the
Tuberculosis Structural Genomics Consortium.
We are also a member of the team managing the UCB/UCSF shared X-ray beamline
8.3.1 at the LBNL Advanced Light Source.
